I saved a typing pattern but the system returns “No previous valid typing patterns found.”

This message is returned when the solution does not identify any comparable typing patterns for a specific device type or typing position.

This is more common on mobile devices, when the enrollment position is different from the verification one. As an example, the enrollment was done in the phone’s landscape mode but the verification is done in the phone’s portrait mode. For more information about the different mobile positions, check out the API documentation.

To solve this, the user must also enroll while using the device in the new position. That is how the typing profile will be enriched with information on the new mobile position.
